1. Appearance: Carolina Cherry Laurel typically grows to a height of 15-36 feet (4.5-11 meters) with a spread of 10-20 feet (3-6 meters). It has a dense, rounded crown and glossy, dark green leaves that are elliptical or lance-shaped. The bark is smooth and reddish-brown when young, but it becomes gray and develops shallow fissures as the plant matures.
