Het DT SWISS FR 1500 CLASSIC voorwiel is ontworpen om een nauwkeurige besturing te bieden en tegelijkertijd de traagheid bij het ingaan van bochten te verminderen. In deze nieuwe versie is het aantal spaken teruggebracht tot 28, waardoor het gewicht wordt verminderd zonder afbreuk te doen aan de robuustheid die onmisbaar is voor freeride- en downhill-gebruik. Deze configuratie zorgt voor een directere besturing en een betere reactiesnelheid bij het wisselen van steunpunt. 

De aluminium velg is voorzien van het nieuwe profiel dat door DT Swiss is ontwikkeld. Dankzij een geoptimaliseerde materiaalverdeling op strategische plaatsen verbetert deze de schokbestendigheid en wordt het risico op lekke banden door inklemmen beperkt. Deze ontwikkeling draagt direct bij aan het vergroten van het vertrouwen van de rijder wanneer de trajecten uitdagender worden.

Het hart van het wiel wordt gevormd door de DT Swiss 240-naaf, die bekend staat om zijn betrouwbaarheid op internationale downhill-circuits. De DT Competition® -spaken zorgen op hun beurt voor een uitstekende koersvastheid en een stijfheid die is afgestemd op extreme belastingen.
