10-Speed Anti-Rust Bicycle Chain (116 Links)
Key Features
- Optimized 10-Speed Performance: Precision-engineered with a 1/2" x 11/128" pitch, specifically designed for narrow-spaced 10-speed drivetrains to ensure smooth shifting and silent operation.
- Anti-Rust Surface Treatment: Features a high-grade nickel or zinc coating that provides superior resistance to corrosion, significantly extending the life of the chain in wet or muddy conditions.
- High-Strength Pin Power: Utilizing chromized pins and reinforced bushings, this chain is built to withstand high torque loads during steep climbs and sprints without stretching prematurely.
- Chamfered Plate Design: The inner and outer plates are engineered with chamfered edges to reduce friction and facilitate fast, crisp shifting across the cassette even under load.
- Tool-Free Quick Link: Includes a reusable or single-use "Missing Link" connector, allowing for easy installation and removal without the need for a specialized chain breaker tool.
Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

Compatibility & Fitment
This chain is a universal replacement for modern 10-speed drivetrains across all major brands:
- Bicycle Types: Mountain Bikes (MTB), Road Bikes, Gravel Bikes, Cyclocross, and Hybrid/Commuter bikes.
- Groupset Compatibility: Fully compatible with Shimano (Deore, Tiagra, 105), SRAM (GX, Apex, Rival), and Campagnolo 10-speed systems.
- Link Count: 116 Links (standard length that fits almost all standard frame sizes; can be shortened for specific setups).
When to Replace
- Chain Stretch: Use a chain checker tool; if the chain shows 0.75% wear or higher, it should be replaced immediately to avoid damaging your expensive cassette and chainrings.
- Poor Shifting: Hesitation or "skipping" when changing gears, even after the derailleurs have been properly adjusted.
- Visible Rust: Significant surface oxidation or "frozen" links that no longer pivot freely, leading to a clanking noise or "ghost shifting."
- High Mileage: As a general rule, a bicycle chain should be replaced every 2,000–3,000 miles, depending on riding style and maintenance habits.
- Loud Drivetrain: Excessive grinding or "chirping" sounds despite being recently lubricated.
Installation Tips
- Size Before Installing: Do not just install the full 116 links. Compare the new chain to your old one (link-for-link) or use the "Big-to-Big" method (wrap the chain around the largest chainring and largest cog, bypassing the derailleur, then add two links).
- Removing Excess Links: You will still need a Chain Breaker Tool to shorten the chain to the correct length before using the Quick Link to join the ends.
- Quick Link Orientation: Some Quick Links are directional. Look for an arrow on the link and ensure it points in the direction of the chain's travel (forward toward the front of the bike).
- Seating the Link: Once the Quick Link is installed, apply pressure to the pedals while holding the rear wheel steady to "snap" the link into its locked position.
- Lube After Install: Most new chains come with a factory coating. For best results, wipe off the exterior of the new chain and apply a high-quality, condition-specific (Dry or Wet) lubricant before your first ride.
