Chateau de Cedre is a family winery established in 1958. Now run by brothers Jean and Pascal, this Terre Rouge is Pascal’s negotiant project - the wine is made from grapes purchased from likeminded, sustainable growers working their vines organically, eschewing herbicides and chemical fertilisers, and vinified in line with Pascal’s winemaking principles.

This pours dark red, with a very fruity nose, both powerful and elegant. It's round and soft on the palate with great fruit intensity and notes of blackberries and small red fruits.

Grape: Malbec

Great at Protecting Cigars under 6 Inches in Length

Solid and well made cigar holder. It has a built-in punch cutter, but I found it to be way too big and dull on top of that. Both ends unscrew and can be used as a cigar rest if you don't have an ash tray handy. It definitely will not fit any cigar over 6 inches in length. It looks really nice and definitely provides protection for the cigar. The claim that it has one end to use as an ashtray is ridiculous, so bring an ashtray as this will not work for that. It is a cigar holder with a rest and nothing more. Bring along a proper cutter and an ashtray and you will be happy. I deducted one star for the poor punch cutter and the ashtray claim.

This is a bit of a statement piece. It appears to be machined out of a solid piece of metal. Gold toned, it shows you have arrived. It is a bit weighty. It can hold a large ring cigar; a Robusto would be no problem. A Churchill would be too long. It does the job. It comes with a dropper for the distilled water and some Ziploc type bags (not sure why they are included). It's worth the selling price of $8.90 . Great as a gift as well.
