À PROPOS DES FILMS: New-Yorkaise au foyer, insatisfaite dans sa vie personnelle, Kate Miller consulte le Dr Robert Elliott, son psychanalyste, afin d'évoquer ses frustrations. Après une rencontre passionnée avec un inconnu croisé dans un musée, Kate est brutalement assassinée dans un ascenseur par une mystérieuse femme blonde. Liz Blake, prostituée témoin du meurtre, devient bientôt une cible pour l’assassin. Avec l’aide de Peter, le fils de Kate, Liz tente de découvrir la vérité.
À PROPOS DU FILM: Tourné un an avant BLOW OUT, PULSIONS est une œuvre maîtrisée dans laquelle Brian De Palma s’inspire à la fois d’Alfred Hitchcock mais également de son propre univers cinématographique. Le thème de la double personnalité entraîne le spectateur dans un thriller sanglant, parfois proche du giallo, où l’on retrouve Nancy Allen (POLTERGEIST 3), Michael Caine (GET CARTER) et Angie Dickinson (LE POINT DE NON-RETOUR). On notera enfin une partition musicale envoûtante signée par le compositeur Pino Donaggio (CARRIE).

Opens the can weird, but functional

Ehhh it’s easy to use and gets it open, my only issue is that it doesn’t open a can like a regular can opener where it is cut on top of the can and you can push it in the can to drain if needed. Rather it cuts the outside of the can as it spins around, so it doesn’t fit inside the can. Not very handy when you’re opening a can of tuna and want to drain the tuna juice, so I had to keep my manual one, that I was trying to get rid of by buying this electric one 🙃

Works Great!

I've only used it a few times since it arrived and it works great. Much better than the hand cranking can opener I've been using. It's a little loud, but that's not enough of a deterrent for me to stop using it. The noise is a temporary annoyance that I'll gladly put up with to have a can opener that actually completely opens a can.

Injured finger from use

Just used the product for the first time today. Beware, it does work but it cut my daughter’s finger open really bad because it made the edge of the can stringy and she cut her finger on it. Be careful.
