A fabulous cocktail ring style. The setting is gently rounded on the underside, giving a a tactile lozenge shape to the setting, with a gentle taper to the surface leading up to the setting wall. When finished properly this ring can achieve a fine polish. The ring would be suited to calibrated faceted stones and cabochons. A great casting to practice rub-over setting with as can be held in a ring clamp
These settings have a ledge in the setting to help seat the stone and have a generous wall thickness to create a neat rub over on the stone.
Designed to be set with either a pusher or a hammer action tool. Use stone setting and round burrs to help seat your stone perfectly.
