According to the Wikipedia: "Thomas Alva Edison was an American inventor and businessman, who has been described as America's greatest inventor. He is credited with developing many devices in fields such as electric power generation, mass communication, sound recording, and motion pictures." This challenge coin is an excellent reminder of our history and a great addition to any collection. I have found quite a few styles of commemorative coins for Thomas Edison but none exactly like this one.
This coin originally belonged to a coin collector who stored it in our safe for years. Eventually we acquired his collection in the condition he left it and other than sealing it in plastic it is sold as he left it. It does not react to a magnet.
