This bracket is used in applications where the engines timing belt tensioner has been converted from the standard hydraulic tensioner to the old style manual tensioner. By retaining usage of the factory idler pulley, this prevents loss of belt wrap on the crank pulley. It is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, and features roll formed threads for strength.
