IAV Cycling Dynamics

Assioma supports the advanced metrics IAV Cycling Dynamics: IAV Power Phase and IAV Rider Position. These metrics, combined with the classic power data, allow analyzing in details the pedaling technique and how the cyclist’s position on the bike influences performances.

IAV Power and gyroscope

Unlike others, the measurements of Assioma are not affected by errors related to very irregular pedaling (eg. sprint uphill) or the use of oval chainrings. This is because Assioma is able to detect the actual instantaneous angular velocity of the pedal stroke, thus giving you the degree of accuracy of ±1% in any situation. Not only in the laboratory.

Bluetooth and ANT+

Assioma communicates via Bluetooth and ANT+ with bike computers and smartphones, both Android and iOS.

Real dual-sided power data - only in the DUO version

The Assioma power sensors are placed on the pedals, exactly where the cyclist’s force is applied, this ensures an accurate data collection not only of the total power but also of the L/R power balance, the Torque Efficiency, the Pedal Smoothness, etc. The L/R power balance data by Assioma are not based on estimates but on real measurements: taken individually on both the left and the right side.

Accuracy and consistency

Assioma provides accurate watt measurements with a great consistency and stability in the actual on-road use conditions and at any temperature between -10°C and 60°C. Thanks to the ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation) too.

Waterproof, resistant and light

Assioma is the lightest and most compact pedal-based power meter: with no protruding elements, it does not interfere with the pedalling. Not even when cornering. The power sensors are protected in a bi-component resin block, extremely resistant to shocks and fully waterproof.

Rechargeable and sustainable

Assioma is the only pedal-based power meter with integrated rechargeable batteries; a single charge ensures 50 hours of use at least.

The supplied charger allows you to charge the power meters simultaneously without uninstalling, thanks to the two-meter long USB cable with magnetic power connectors.

Tested and guaranteed

Each part of Assioma has been designed by Favero Electronics and has undergone strict control tests (load, shock, fatigue, wear, water resistance, electrical safety, etc.) fully satisfying the standards required by current regulations. Favero Electronics manufactures every bike power meters in Italy and tests the good functioning of each unit to ensure maximum reliability and durability.

App Assioma and compatibility with other apps

With the Assioma app, you can easily update the firmware, perform manual zeroing, check the battery charge level, customize stand-by times, set up travel mode, and much more.
In addition, the new "Compatibility with other apps" function ensures the widest compatibility with apps or software dedicated to power-based training or virtual cycling (e.g. Strava, Zwift, The Sufferfest, Rouvy, TrainerRoad, etc.), both via ANT+ and via Bluetooth.
