Unlike flimsy alternatives, Morimoto shrouds are crafted from high-quality plastic with durable metalized chrome finishes, ensuring longevity and resistance to heat deformation. For a perfect, chrome finish, choose "A Stock" shrouds, or opt for "B Stock" for budget-friendly retrofits or painting projects. Centric Rings are recommended for improved installation ease on various projectors, ensuring a secure "press fit" onto the lens holder.

Notes
  • Morimoto shrouds are made from the highest quality plastic and have by far the most durable metalized chrome finishes.
  • Cheapo alternatives are flimsy enough to deform from the heat of a 35W HID bulb, and their chrome finish easily flakes off.
  • "B stock" units are perfect for budget retrofits or when painting them is part of the plans.
  • "A Stock" Shrouds are for those who won't settle for anything less than perfect and plan to leave them chrome.
  • Centric Rings are not included by default, but are highly recommended to improve ease of installation on many projectors.
  • Centric Rings are simple reducers that clip into the shroud to reduce the inside diameter, making them more of a "press fit" onto the lens holder of the projector.
