Discover the groundbreaking book 'Questioning Borders,' a profound exploration of Indigenous knowledge and ecology in contemporary literature. This enlightening text challenges the prevailing settler-colonial narratives that often normalize resource extraction at the expense of nomadic, hunting, foraging, or fishing communities. With a focus on recent ecoliterature from Han and non-Han Indigenous writers of China and Taiwan, Robin Visser delves into the intricate relationships among humans, animals, ecosystems, and the cosmos. Aiming to inspire new sustainable practices and ways of thinking, this book is perfect for scholars and readers interested in decolonizing ecocriticism and comparative literature. In 'Questioning Borders,' Visser's extensive field research spans various Indigenous writers including Bai, Bunun, Kazakh, Mongol, Tao, Tibetan, Uyghur, Wa, Yi, and Han Chinese authors. These narratives are set in critical locations such as Xinjiang, Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Southwest China, and Taiwan—regions deeply affected by development, migration, and climate change. By contrasting Han Chinese perspectives with Indigenous cosmologies, the book presents a refreshing take that challenges established binaries, borders, and hierarchies. This 2023 publication by Columbia University Press is essential reading for anyone invested in understanding alternative modes of creativity and consciousness in the Anthropocene. Rediscover literature through a lens that honors and respects Indigenous insights into our interconnected world.

Soft, Flattering, and Perfect for Everyday Wear
Size: Large, Color: Army Green, Size: Large, Color: Army Green
I purchased this t-shirt in a size large in the army green color, and it has quickly become one of my favorite wardrobe staples. The material is soft and comfortable, and the v-neck shape is very flattering. The army green color is vibrant and does not have that faded look that many shades of army green often do. The fabric is also thick enough that it is not see through or sheer.
While the Amazon description mentions this as beach or vacation wear, I find it better suited for casual, everyday outfits. It pairs perfectly with comfy jeans for a relaxed look. The length is just below the pocket line on my waist jeans, which makes it flattering to wear untucked, though it could easily be dressed up with a belt for a polished casual Friday work outfit.
The shirt has a bit of stretch, which enhances the fit, and the caps on the short sleeves add a nice touch. It washed well with no fading or shrinking, and at around $10 for the army green color, it is an incredible value. I love this t-shirt so much that I plan to purchase it in another color soon!

Elevated T-Shirt
Size: Small, Color: Army Green
Cute top. Material is good quality. I wanted something more detailed than just a regular tee shirt. The neck line and cuffed sleeve gives the top a more elevated look. I ordered the army green. It looks like army green in natrual light, but indoors, the color gives off more of a brownish vibe. I found this runs true to size.
