Aanplanting Walnootboom Juglans regia multistam

De Walnoot Juglans Regia staat graag op een vruchtbare en vochtige tuingrond. Het is belangrijk dat de grond goed doorlatend is. Ze doen het goed op zandgrond, kleigrond, leem, veen of loss, zolang de bodem maar vochtig én doorlatend is. Dat is bij kleigrond soms wat lastiger, terwijl een te lichte zandgrond weer vaak te droog is. Een gemiddelde tuingrond, zoals bemeste tuinaarde wordt daarom geadviseerd. Geef de bodem bij aanplanten wat kalk. Strooi dit vervolgens jaarlijks rondom het hart van de boom. Deze meerstammige walnootboom staat graag op een plek in de zon, hier zullen ze de meeste vruchten geven. Halfschaduw wordt daarentegen ook verdragen.

Deze walnootboom is goed solitair in de tuin te planten of te combineren met onze kant en klare borderpakketten (denk aan pakket Henk Jan, Lennart, Ilse, Milan, Diny) of vaste planten/ siergrassen zoals:

  • Ijzerhard 'Verbena' Lollipop
  • Gele Zonnehoed 'Rudbeckia'
  • Salie Caradonna of Mainacht
  • Daglelie 'Hemerocallis'
  • Ezelsoor 'Stachys'

Kan ook samen in voedselbosje met fruitstruiken zoals de Vlier, Frambozenstruiken, Blauwe en Rode bessenstruik, Japanse Hulst, Taxus of andere bomen zoals fruitbomen en notenbomen.

Ook in bosplantsoen te combineren met Berk 'Betula', Zomereik 'Quercus Robur' en lagere soorten zoals Groene Hulst, Gewone Hazelaar of Amerikaans Krentenboompje. Vanwege mogelijk vallende walnoten minder geschikt voor langs lanen, wel in parken en voedselbossen zie we de Walnootboom steeds vaker terug. Graag maken we ook een maatwerk beplantingsplan voor uw borders.

Oogsttijd van de walnoten

Zo half september tot eind oktober zullen de vruchten rijp zijn. Deze vallen dan naar beneden, waarna u ze kunt opraken. De gevallen vruchten zijn altijd rijp. Pluk de vruchten dus niet van de boom af. Deze hoogstammige boom zal pas na enkele jaren walnoten geven.

Cute and comfortable linen blend shirt that’s perfect for summer. The fit is relaxed without looking oversized or sloppy, which I really like. I usually wear between a large and extra large depending on the chest area, and I ordered the large based on the size chart. It fit correctly according to the measurements, but I personally think the extra large may have been a little more comfortable for me through the bust. For reference, I’m around a 33-inch waist and a 42C bust. The light beige color is really pretty and easy to style with denim jeans, jean skirts, or sandals for a casual summer look. Since it’s a lighter-colored cotton-linen blend, you’ll want to wear the proper undergarments underneath depending on your skin tone, which is pretty normal for linen-style fabrics. I also love the adjustable cinched waist because it gives the shirt a more flattering shape without making it tight. Overall, it’s a beautiful lightweight top with a nice relaxed fit, and I definitely recommend it.

Amazon Essentials Women's Relaxed Fit Linen Blend Wide Sleeve Shirt with Adjustable Tie Waist Review: I got this for my daughter mostly (we trade clothes back and forth), and she finds it very comfortable and flattering. For reference, her measurements are about: 39 inches around the bust 35 inches around the hips/stomach  And 42 inches around the bottom   I ordered her a Medium, and it fits her very well, but it's on the edge of being big. If she lost a little weight, it might seem big but fit me a little better, but it fits her very well now. It's a very breathable fabric, and the cut is flattering. It is a little see through, not majorly, but she says she will probably wear it with a white or nude tank top as an underlayer, possibly with a bra too, but at that point it might be too hot for a summer outfit. It could be dressed up or down and would pair well with a skirt or jeans, with sandals or heels or cute sneakers. It could also be worn fully unbuttoned over a tank top, if one wanted. The buttons are real, and seem well-sewn. The collar is initially reluctant to stay open, but it will relax in time or one of us could iron it like that, but we're unlikely to, lol.   The only complaint she had was that when she goes to raise up her arms and hold them horizontally out in front of herself, the sleeves and shoulders become too tight across the back and up the arms, although this is a very common problem, unfortunately, with women's/girl's clothing. We'll have to live with it, but it will keep the shirt from being worn as often as it might have been. We're definitely happy for the natural fibers (a linen/cotton blend). We are both excited to wear and style it. I'll include photos.
