De Wagner Competition intercooler kit is ontwikkeld voor de Audi A4 en A5 B8 met de 2.7 TDI en 3.0 TDI motor (waaronder de A4 B8 Allroad) en tilt de prestaties naar een hoger niveau. De intercooler heeft netafmetingen van 610 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm en een laadluchtvolume van 17,446 liter, wat zorgt voor een 178% grotere aanstroomoppervlakte en 158% meer laadluchtvolume dan de standaard intercooler.

Het hoogwaardige Competition tube-fin-net met interne turbulators is geoptimaliseerd voor de luchtstroom. De gegoten aluminium eindkasten zijn ontwikkeld in het CAD-systeem en geoptimaliseerd met CFD-simulaties; een geïntegreerde luchtgeleiding zorgt voor een gelijkmatige vulling van het net en vermindert de tegendruk. De aansluitdiameters zijn vergroot naar Ø67 mm en de kit wordt geleverd met versterkte siliconen slangen. Met een gewicht van slechts 9,1 kg is de intercooler licht en is hij tot 6 bar getest, wat hem geschikt maakt voor racetoepassingen. I like the fact that these are kind of soft and fuzzy (outside), but I LOVE that they leave your toes exposed and cool (because my heels feel kind of warm from the moisturizer and gel pad). They are of good thickness, and I feel they will last a long time (of course remains to be seen). Highly recommend.
