Bloeitijd Trosspirea - Neillia affinis

Trosspirea bloeit van mei tot juli met rozerode klokvormige bloemen in 8 cm lange trossen. De eivormige, gekartelde bladeren hangen aan roodgekleurde overhangende takken. Dit maakt dat deze struik buitengewoon sierlijk oogt! In de herfst verkleuren de bladeren van Trosspirea prachtig rood. De uitgebloeide bloemtrossen geven ook in de winter een mooi beeld!

Aanplanten en standplaats

Trosspirea - Neillia affinis kan op elke grond staan, mits deze goed doorlatend is. Hij houdt van een plekje in de volle zon of halfschaduw. Trosspirea kan uiteindelijk 2 meter hoog worden. De stuik kan wel wat woekeren, snoei hem in het voorjaar terug tot 5 a 10 cm boven het hart van de plant.
