Davy werkt met een begrijpelijk verkeerslichtsysteem:

  • Bedtijd: Davy's buik licht rood op, het is tijd om te slapen.

  • Bijna tijd om op te staan: 30 minuten voor het opstaan licht Davy's buik oranje op als je erop drukt. De laatste 5 minuten licht hij automatisch op.

  • Je mag opstaan: het lampje wordt groen, je mag opstaan en uit bed!

Zelfs jonge kinderen begrijpen dit kleurensysteem moeiteloos. Daarbij bewegen Davy's ogen mee om te laten weten of hij nog slaapt of niet. Zo leert je kindje spelenderwijs wanneer het nog even in bed moet blijven.
