Polycarbonaat lichtstraten zijn dé ideale oplossing om meer daglicht in uw gebouw binnen te krijgen. Deze zijn verkrijgbaar in verschillende types en isolatiediktes.

De 'LUX'-variant is verkrijgbaar in 30mm en 40mm isolatiedikte. De 30mm isolatiedikte wordt vaak gecombineerd met de dakpanelen met 3cm isolatie (ECO30 en ROOF30), omdat dit een eenvoudige montage met zich meebrengt (de lichtstraat is namelijk hetzelfde qua afmetingen en profilering als de geïsoleerde dakpanelen).
De 40mm isolatiedikte wordt vooral gebruikt bij de 60mm en 100mm isolatiedikte. Dit type lichtstraat is populair omwille van zijn goede thermische waarden: met een U-waarde van 1.0 scoort dit paneel even hoog als modern dubbel glas!
De LUX-panelen vereisen wel wat afwerking om optimaal te funtioneren: je hebt een eindkappenset nodig om de uiteinden af te dichten (opletten dat je de juiste dikte kiest), en op de overlap raden wij steeds aan om een overlapprofiel te voorzien.
Indien je lichtstraten combineert met panelen met een andere dikte, raden we aan deze uit te vullen met vullatten.

Belangrijk: polycarbonaat is een grondstof die gekenmerkt wordt door een relatief grote thermische expansie. Het is dus belangrijk om beweegruimte te laten, zodat de lichtstraat zijn expansie kwijt kan. Daarom is het zeer sterk aangeraden de lichtstraten steeds voor te boren met een boor met 10mm diameter. Dit boorgat wordt dan afgedicht met het zadel op de schroef, waardoor je de lichtstraten nog steeds waterdicht kan verwerken.

Reliable Quick Cleaner for Leather Interiors I’ve been using the Chemical Guys Leather Quick Detailer on my car’s interior for a while now, and it’s become one of those go-to products I like to keep on hand.
