Deze gepatenteerde IceToolz kettingpons is een professionele kettingpons geschikt voor alle voorkomende derailleurkettingen, of het nu Shimano®, KMC®, Taya® of een ander merk is. De IceToolz kettingpons is voorzien van een beschermklep en een mogelijkheid de breekpen netjes af te breken. De kettingpons ligt prettig in de hand door de ergonomische greep. Daarnaast zorgen de lange stiften aan het draaideel van de kettingpons ervoor dat er weinig kracht uitgeoefend hoeft te worden. Deze IceToolz kettingpons is gemaakt van Cr-Mo kwaliteit staal. Het IceToolz artikelnummer van deze kettingpons is 62M1.

Deze IceToolz kettingpons is een professionele kettingpons die door de ergonomische uitvoering veel gezien wordt in fietsenwerkplaatsen. De kettingpons is voorzien van een uitsparing in de draaistiften waarmee de breekpen van de ketting, na het aanbrengen hiervan, netjes afgebroken kan worden. Alles in één tool. De kettingpons van IceToolz is ook voorzien van een extra beschermkap die het losschieten van de ketting voorkomt. Door de beschermkap op de ketting te drukken tijdens het gebruik van de kettingpons blijft de ketting goed op zijn plaats liggen. Daardoor zit de pen van de kettingpons ook altijd haaks op de uit te drijven kettingpin, dit voorkomt het afbreken van de pen van de kettingpons. De kettingpons wordt vaak gebruikt in combinatie met de kettingdemontagehulp (IceToolz artikelnummer 62H1).

Na het plaatsen van de ketting-demontagehulp kan met behulp van deze kettingpons de pin van elk willekeurige kettingschakel eruit worden geperst. Let erop dat de kettingpons de pin ver genoeg eruit perst om de schakel los te halen, maar niet zover dat de pin ook uit de buitenste schalm gedrukt wordt. De ketting kan iets verbogen worden als de kettingpons de pin er (bijna) vergenoeg uitgedrukt heeft. Als er gebruik gemaakt wordt van een missing link is de IceToolz kettingtang een uitkomst voor montage van de missing link. (IceToolz nummer 62D3)

Make sure you read the terms and conditions and don't let them off the hook
Asurion is counting on the fact that you don't know how to read. They made the claim process aggravating and as difficult as possible. I CAN read and had to review the terms and conditions with them on the phone and threaten to involve an attorney before they would honor the coverage. They tried to say my product was not portable, when the word "portable" is literally in the name of the product. Then they tried to say the the accidental drop was not covered, but it clearly states in the terms and conditions that an accidental drop and a cracked screen is a covered event. I buy the coverage almost every time I am offered it, but I will be rethinking that going forward and Amazon should consider finding a different company to issue the protection plans for their products because I fear this is the beginning of a lot of complaints. I have filed a claim in the past and it was very straightforward and easy, but they must have a new company managing the plans now, because it was anything but easy. If I was an older person who was not tech savy, or who just took someone's word at face value, I would be out the cost of my item and the protection plan. BUYER BEWARE

They honor their product.
I've been dealing with Asurion for over a decade now. They're my first choice when making a purchase that I know I'm going to have around for a while. Asurion backs its product to the hilt. I purchased a mid-range priced printer about 2 1/2 yrs. ago along with a 3yr. warranty from Asurion to cover any unexpected 'surprises' that might happen to pop up. Fast forward to approximately 3 months ago, when my printer decided that it wanted to start acting up. The print quality was taking a nose dive; colors were beginning to drop out, showing streaks and fading. Clarity and sharpness are virtually gone. I contacted Asurion about the problem. I couldn't have found a nicer rep to deal with. She said not to worry and within minutes had the situation under control. She sent me all the information and pre-paid postage on how to pack and have my unit shipped to their repair facilities. In less than a week my unit was repaired and returned to me. However, this is not the end of the story. Within a few days, my unit was acting up again and doing the same thing it went in for. Again, I got hold of Asurion (Same great service, different girl). We repeated the same process as before, but this time the unit was there about a week longer. When I finally received the unit, I immediately hooked it up and put it through the numbers, testing everything. To be blunt, the print quality was worse than the 1st time it went in for service. After voicing my displeasure (basically having a hissy-fit), I regained my composure and contacted Asurion, again! This time they told me that since their techs were unable to resolve the issue and to not have me waiting any longer than I have already, they're going ahead and refunding the total amount I paid for the unit. Even though it was somewhat of a Pain-in-the-ASS to go through, I couldn't be happier. Within 48 hrs. I had my refund in hand and I turned around and purchased a replacement Printer. Moral to the story, have a contingency plan, Just in case. Check out Asurion: Great customer service - Nice people, very competitive pricing for their products and they honor their word by their actions. Highly recommend Asurion to anyone.
