Abrikozenboom (Prunus armeniaca 'Goldrich') - 1 plant met blote wortel

Een sterke en productieve abrikozenboom die goed bestand is tegen ons klimaat. 'Goldrich' staat bekend om zijn grote, goudoranje vruchten met stevig en sappig vruchtvlees. Deze abrikoos heeft een volle, zoete smaak met een lichte frisse toon en is zeer geschikt om vers te eten, maar ook ideaal voor confituur, gebak, compote of om te drogen.

De boom groeit krachtig en kan in de volle grond uitgroeien tot 3-4 meter hoog. In pot gehouden blijft hij compacter. Abrikozen bloeien vroeg in het voorjaar met prachtige witroze bloesems die ook aantrekkelijk zijn voor bijen. 'Goldrich' is een betrouwbare variëteit die regelmatig en rijk draagt.

Plant de abrikoos op een warme, zonnige en beschutte plek. Hij verdraagt geen natte voeten, dus goed doorlatende grond is belangrijk.

Tips en verzorging:

  • Aanplant: november tot maart 
  • Snoeien: snoei in late winter of vroege voorjaar. Verwijder dode, zieke en kruisende takken, dun de kroon uit en haal recht omhoog groeiende waterloten weg. Houd de boom compact en snoei lichtelijk elk jaar voor een gezonde, productieve boom.
  • Bio/niet bio: dit plantgoed komt van een kleinschalige kweker, zonder officieel bio-certificaat. Maar geen zorgen, wij zijn er zeker van dat het gifvrij is.
  • Volle grond of potten: je kan al het fruit telen in potten, hoe groter de pot hoe beter ze het zullen doen. Ze zullen altijd beter groeien en meer vruchten produceren in de volle grond.
