Daar zijn ze trots op, maar daar heeft men hard voor moeten werken en veel voor moeten investeren. Zo heeft Coto Mayor een moderne Winery en de allerbeste houten vaten waardoor de kwaliteit jaar na jaar kan worden gegarandeerd.Houtlagering voor de Coto Mayor Reserva
Deze rode wijn is volledig gemaakt van de Tempranillo druif die afkomstig zijn van één van de oudste wijngaarden van Coto Mayor. De oude dikke stammen geven vandaag de dag een prachtige oogst. Vol en rond met heel veel smaak, alleen is dat niet vanzelf gegaan. Er is veel geïnvesteerd en er wordt tijdens het groeiseizoen veel gesnoeid. Zo blijven alleen de beste trossen over welke allemaal met de hand worden binnen gehaald. Elke trots word voordat hij in de houten krat wordt gelegd grondig geïnspecteerd. Hierdoor is deze rode Rioja Reserva uitermate zuiver en stijlvol. De hele wijn rijpt maar liefst 18 maanden in Franse eiken houten vaten waarvan een deel nieuw en ongebruikt is. Na deze periode rijpt de Reserva nog eens twee jaar op de fles in de kelders van Coto Mayor.De geur en smaak van de Reserva Coto Mayor
De Coto Mayor Reserva is diep rood van kleur. In de geur heerlijke rijpe maar fruitige aroma's van aardbeien en kersen aangevuld met de subtiele houttonen van vanille, klein cederhoutje en mild-pittige specerijen. De krachtige rode wijn heeft door zijn 18 maanden hout lagering en vervolgens 2 jaar flesrijping in de prachtige kelders van Bodega Coto Vintage genoeg tijd gehad om soepel, zacht en rond te worden. Soepel, zacht en rond is deze wijn zeker, daarnaast nog mooie tannines die kenmerkend zijn voor een goede Rioja. Een juweel van een rode wijn!Shipping Notes

Soft and delicious, but pricey (but worth it if you care about health)

Ugh, I wish these weren't so pricey, but I know it's because of the high-quality and I really do care about that. I'm willing to pay a bit more of grass-fed and finished meat. And these are the perfect quick snack. They're delicious, they're not hard and impossible to bite/chew like some meat sticks, and they give you clean nutrition. I didn't find them particularly greasy either. The packaging is impossible to open, but I wonder if I got a bad set - all of them are fully sealed at the top where normally there are two pieces so that you can peel the package open. All of mine require scissors to cut open which is frustrating but not the end of the world. Again, not sure if that's standard packaging or just a flaw on the ones I got. In any case, they are great and I have already repurchased!

Flavor Name: Beef Sticks - Jalapeño
My entire family LOVES these meat sticks. You can taste the freshness. The texture is meaty, No greasy film, no nasty ingredients. I was sold after reading about the fermentation process of these meat sticks. Excellent flavor. I’ll never stop eating these. Jalapeño are my favorite, they aren’t too spicy.

Ten star quality and hands down the best I've ever had
Flavor Name: Venison Sticks - Original
I had a health practitioner suggest I increase protein intake and add in some game meats (venison, bison, elk) along with beef. I found Paleo Valley venison and beef sticks as a great solution to add these to my diet without a big bite in my budget. Paleo Valley provides several beef sticks that are all tasty and will appeal to a variety of consumer preferences though my personal favorite is the venison. All their sources are grass fed and finished, pasture raised and finished. You can instantly taste the difference in quality with your first bite. The sticks are firm and moist, nicely flavored and are simple to carry around as a quick snack or extra protein boost. I found I have less interest in sugary or carb-filled snacks by eating a quality protein source. Many other brands I've tried are hard, dry, heavily spiced and don't really taste natural. Not so with Paleo Valley. As a company, I found them to be very health conscious and have other supplements available, along with really useful educational tips for a healthier lifestyle. I think it's important to leave good reviews when I find something that's exceptional quality and Paleo Valley fits that bill.

BEST GLUTEN FREE BEEF STICKS!

I have bought these mulitple times and now have decided to become a monthly subscriber. I love the fact of the "natural" ingredients, these are truly GLUTEN FREE with no hidden ingredients. The taste is amazing and has the perfect amount of spices, not to much but by NO means bland either. They are always fresh and last a long time. They are never dry, not one single time.

Half a bad batch?

Unsure if I got a bad batch, ill explain why I gave it a 3.
First four I had had the consistency of a banana and just tasted extremely off. It was oily, greasy, and the texture was just not something I ever experienced, and ive had venison/beef sticks before. It was pretty disgusting
I brought them to work to ensure they didnt go to waste and kept one
The one I had was perfect flavor, texture, non greasy and exactly what I had expected. Checked with the coworkers I shared them with and theirs were fine.
It leads me to believe maybe it was a bad batch? If they were all like the first few id say 0 stars, if they were all like the last id say 5
