De DT Swiss EX 1700 CLASSIC-wielset is ontworpen voor intensief enduro-rijden of DH/freeride en combineert robuustheid, precisie en prestaties om zelfs de meest veeleisende terreinen aan te kunnen. De asymmetrische, gelaste aluminium velgen bieden een uitstekend evenwicht tussen stijfheid, betrouwbaarheid en duurzaamheid, terwijl ze tegelijkertijd het dynamische rijgedrag van de fiets optimaliseren. Ze zijn Tubeless Ready en zorgen voor betere grip, meer comfort en een betere weerstand tegen lekke banden op de meest technische stukken.

Dit wielpaar is voorzien van DT Swiss 350 -naven met het Ratchet DEG 72-systeem, dat dankzij de 72 vergrendelingspunten een snelle krachtoverbrenging garandeert. Deze technologie bevordert het heraanvaren en zorgt voor een directere acceleratie op technische en hobbelige stukken. De DT Swiss DF- technologie vermindert het terugslag-effect door de kettingspanning rechtstreeks in het vrijloopwiel af te voeren. Dit lichte en instelbare systeem verbetert het gedrag van de fiets tijdens afdalingen en zorgt voor een soepelere en natuurlijkere besturing.

De wielen zijn opgebouwd met DT Competition® Race-spaken in een drievoudige kruisverspanning, zowel voor als achter, wat zorgt voor een uitstekende weerstand tegen belasting met behoud van een beheerst gewicht. Dit ontwerp is bedoeld voor intensief gebruik in het bike park, bij enduro of bij veeleisende all-mountain-ritten.

Het EX 1700 CLASSIC-wielpaar is compatibel met verschillende as- en freewheelstandaarden en beschikt bovendien over een E-Bike Ready -certificering tot 250 W. Het interne profiel van 30 mm zorgt ervoor dat brede banden goed op hun plaats blijven, wat meer stabiliteit, precisie en controle biedt tijdens de meest uitdagende afdalingen.

Light commercial grade quality

This VERSARE hush screen portable divider appears to be well made and of light commercial grade quality. The lightweight aircraft aluminum frame and black fabric panel aren’t as heavy duty as the commercial grade steel panels of years past, but this panel certainly has adequate durability for home or office use. The sleek modern style is aesthetically pleasing, definitely appropriate for commercial applications, it doesn’t look cheap, or out of place. It’s freestanding and portable, with optional locking wheels, measuring 4’ wide X 6’ tall. The top panel is made of a clear fluted fiberglass, providing a window for natural light to filter through. I’m currently using it in my home office to partition of a separate workspace for my college student. It works very well for my purpose, I now have two relatively private workspaces in one office. It’s fairly easy to assemble, but the instructions could be more detailed and illustrative. One thing that I don’t like about it, is that the legs only slide in place, but they don’t bolt to the frame, allowing the legs to slide out of place when the panel is lifted up. The problem isn’t as magnified with the wheels installed, because the panel is then rolled, rather than lifted. It would be much easier to lift and move if the legs were bolted in place. But since I won’t be moving the divider very often, it’s not a deal breaker. Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality and look of this portable divider. At just under $555, it’s perhaps a tad bit overpriced, but still a reasonably good value. I recommend this VERSARE portable divider for home or office applications.
