Château Haut Gléon, gelegen in Languedoc-Roussillon, is een prachtig stuk grond met kasteel omgebouwd tot wijndomein. Haut Gléon ligt aan de oostkant van de Corbières: een bevoorrecht stukje Languedoc-Roussillon. Het staat hier vol met wijnranken met een vruchtbare grond en een bijzonder microklimaat. Dit dal staan bekend als Vallée de Paradis. De meeste wijnstokken zijn gesitueerd op het noorden en de bodem is kiezelig en kalkachtig. In totaal beslaat het eigendom van het twaalfde-eeuwse château 260 hectare en is sinds 2012 in het bezit van Foncalieu. De wijngaarden biedt een breed scala aan variëteiten (Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Merlot, Syrah, Carignan, Grenache Noir, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir). Château Haut-Gléon produceert voornamelijk rode wijnen (80 procent) maar ook witte wijnen en rosés ( 20 procent). In Haut-Gléon bestaat het terroir uit verschillende bodems (terrassen van de quartaire periode, klei-kalksteenpuin, grind op klei ontkalkt door kalksteen), met verschillende blootstellingen. Bij het wijnmaken heeft dit wijnhuis een specifiek doel voor ogen. Tijdens het mengen staat de identiteit van het Haut Gléon -terroir centraal. De wijnkelder voldoet aan de hoogste eisen op het gebied van isolatie en klimaatbeheersing. Deze rode wijn is traditioneel gevinifieerd in roestvrijstalen vaten. Lange maceratie (4 weken) met dagelijks overpompen van korte duur voor een soepele extractie. Tot slot rijpt de wijn zes maanden in roestvrijstalen vaten.Een soepel en zachte rode wijn van Haut Gléon
De kleur van deze wijn valt direct op bij het inschenken. Een mooie diep paarse kleur valt het glas in. De geur is veelzijdig met tonen van zwarte bessen en bramen. Afgewisseld met een subtiele kruidigheid. In de smaak is deze rode wijn van Haut Gléon soepel en zacht met fijnen hinten van bramen, kersen en bessen. De licht kruidige afdronk maken de wijn in zijn geheel af. Heerlijk te combineren met lichte vlees gerechten of een kaasplank.Shipping Notes

Fluffy and Nice Omegaverse

… this would have made 5 stars but for 2 reasons.
A.) there were quite a few typos; misspelled words, missing quotations, “the his” mistakes, and various signs that maybe a proofread would do good.
B.) the writing was quite textbook. Late blooming omega is struggling with her new self, finds a absurdly wealthy pack of alphas, every thing is almost insta-love but she resists, then decides to love herself and let everyone be happy.
Rian was my favourite (obviously the author’s favourite too because he got the most page time) but I wish we could see more of his CEO side? He went to work maybe ONCE the entire time. Gray was supposed to be the “growly one” but he turned out to be puppy dog. Lucas was a genius brainiac doctor - but also super alpha with an aggressive hindbrain with a breeding k*nk?? And then there was no actual “breeding”??
Spice 3/5 - normally omegaverse books are super high on messy smut but this was tamer.
Romance 3/5 - insta-love that was then resisted because of personal hangup’s
Plot 2/5 - weird paced head hopping, showing the same scene from different POV’s that made me feel like it was 2 steps backward, 1 step forward.
Humour 4/5 - there were a dozen lines that genuinely made me chuckle out loud
Would have been five stars but the lack of proofreading and the predictable plot made me unable to get up to ADORED IT level - four stars is still and official ENJOYED IT, y’all. This isn’t a bad rating. The “Club Heat” has intriguing possibilities so I’m going to give the second one a shot.

Good start to a series

I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read

Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things

I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2.
Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read

What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.
