De hielwarmer van het merk Skéépe is gemaakt van vocht regulerende en verwarmende Texelse schapenwol, met van nature aanwezige lanoline. De hielwarmer helpt de klachten van overbelasting, uitdroging en kou te verzachten en te verminderen. De wol geeft ook verlichting bij reumatische klachten en biedt naast bescherming, ook warmte aan pijnlijke gewrichten.

Decubitus

Hielwarmers een veel gebruikt middel tegen doorligplekken (decubitus). Decubitus is het gevolg van slechte doorbloeding van de huid. De pijnlijke aandoening ontstaat vaak bij mensen die langdurig moeten liggen of zitten. De ernstige wonden genezen doorgaans slecht. Naast factoren als gewicht, medicijngebruik, weerstand en voeding spelen ook de vochtigheid en temperatuur van de huid een grote rol bij het ontstaan van de plekken.

De hielwarmer is eenvoudig om te doen en op maat te maken dankzij het verstelbare dubbele klittenband en is te gebruiken voor de hiel.

De schapenvachten zijn afkomstig van het wereldberoemde en unieke Texelse schapenras, De Texelaar.

Deze schapen zijn populair om hun uitstekende wol. De wol wordt gevoed door de zilte zeelucht, wind en zon. Deze condities zorgen voor de beste wol omdat ze de vacht van het Texelse schaap volumineus en kroezig maken. Daardoor is het extra zacht, veerkrachtig en optimaal isolerend. Door deze ideale combinatie van isolatie én ventilatie past de schapenvacht zich als het ware aan je lichaamstemperatuur aan; heerlijk warm in de winter en lekker koel in de zomer. Een schapenvacht is uiterst comfortabel en heerlijk zacht. Doordat de vachtdichtheid groot is, wordt je lichaamswarmte vastgehouden als je erop gaat staan of liggen. Een Texels schapenvacht is een heerlijke zachte ondersteuning die zorgt voor verlichting bij (doorlig) pijn. Schapenvachten hebben bovendien een positieve invloed op onze gezondheid.

Our German Shepherd was 4 months old when we purchased this. She’s going to be 6 months soon. She has been teething really bad. We wanted some way to sooth her pain. This product was just what we needed. We put it in the freezer with some peanut butter in the center on both sides. Once frozen we give to our puppy. She loves it. When we open the freezer she recognizes the ziplock package that it was delivered in which we store it in our freezer. She jumps around until we give it to her. She loves it and it keeps her occupied for a while. It is very durable. I did not notice any smell when we received it. It does not make any noise. The plastic material is safe for animals. To clean I put in the dishwasher. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because sometimes the peanut butter gets stuck in it and may need to go through the dishwasher twice which is not a big deal. Or you can hand wash it. I found the dishwasher was best for us. You do not even have to put anything on it, but our pup likes it. I would recommend to others.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Title: Finally, toys that can actually withstand my Labrador’s jaws! If you own a "power chewer," you know the struggle: you bring home a new toy, and within ten minutes, it’s shredded into a thousand pieces of foam and plastic. After going through countless toys that promised durability but failed within a day, I decided to give the WOWBALA 2-Pack Indestructible Dog Toys a try—and I am genuinely impressed. The Durability Factor The biggest selling point here is the material. These are made from high-density, food-grade nylon, and you can feel the quality the moment you take them out of the package. They are solid, heavy-duty, and have held up perfectly against my Lab’s relentless chewing. Even after a week of heavy use, there are only minor surface marks where his teeth have made contact, rather than the dangerous chunks that usually break off other toys. Design & Engagement The pack comes with two different shapes—a stick and a ring—which is a great variety. The curved, ergonomic design of the stick makes it very easy for my dog to hold between his paws while he chews, and the textured surface seems to really hit the spot for him. Great value (2-pack). Easy to clean (dishwasher safe). Engaging design for teething, training, and boredom relief. Safe and non-toxic. Cons: Because they are hard nylon, be careful using them indoors on hardwood floors—they can be a bit noisy when dropped! Highly recommended for any owner of a "Super Chewer."
