What is Alivia Essential Amino Acids?

Alivia Essential Amino Acids are a complete blend of all nine essential amino acids, designed to complement daily protein intake and support muscle maintenance through training, everyday activity, fasting, dieting, travel and ageing.

Essential amino acids, often called EAAs, are the active building blocks of protein. They play an important role in muscle repair, recovery, tissue maintenance and overall physical performance. Because the body cannot produce essential amino acids on its own, they must be supplied through food or supplementation.

Why Alivia Essential Amino Acids work

Unlike whole protein powders, free-form essential amino acids do not need to be broken down through digestion before use. Alivia uses free-form EAAs so the body can absorb and utilise them efficiently, helping deliver targeted amino acid support without the digestive load of a full protein shake.

Alivia also includes sodium at a functional level to support amino acid transport into cells. This helps the body move these key nutrients where they are needed, making the formula a smart option before training, after exercise, during long sessions, or as part of a daily wellness routine.

Key benefits

  • Provides the essential amino acid building blocks needed to help repair and rebuild muscle and tissue
  • Helps maintain muscle during dieting, fasting, travel and busy daily routines
  • Supports recovery from training, physical work, stress and everyday activity
  • Helps reduce fatigue by supporting normal energy production
  • Supports strength, mobility and independence as part of healthy ageing
  • Offers a light alternative to traditional protein powders

When to use

Alivia Essential Amino Acids can be used at different times of day depending on your routine, training schedule and recovery needs.

  • First thing in the morning
  • Between meals to support daily amino acid intake
  • Before, during or after training
  • During long sessions, competitions or game days
  • While fasting, dieting or travelling
  • Any time a light amino acid option is preferred over a protein shake

Great Book with a different perspective
Format: Hardcover
This will be a short review of a very long book. I ordered the book expecting more of a history of the British Navy, but this is more of a history of Britain with respect to its navy. It is still excellent and authoritative, just different than I expected. I really appreciate a somewhat different perspective than I have found in some other books. For example, any discussion of Jackie Fisher I have read previously seemed to border on the hagiographic, whereas here he seems to get a very evenhanded appraisal. A great book, highly recommended.

The Details of the Height of British Naval Power
Format: Hardcover
This is the final volume in Rodger's three part series. This coves a lot of ground that includes Britain's height of imperial/naval hegemony and then its exhaustion after two world wars. Read this book if you want to learn about the details that actually go into an important national organization like the Royal Navy. Things like politics, administration, logistics, ship design, talent pipelines, engineering difficulties, etc. Rodgers goes deep. Things like: 1) Fire control on big guns on warships is a very hard technical challenge and wasn't really solved until the 2nd World War with more advanced electronics. 2) In the coal fired age of ships, most of the navy were coal stokers. The limit of range was actually their exhaustion, not how much coal was on board. 3) Twice the number of bombs were dropped on Malta in WW2 as on London during the Blitz! 4) Britain's naval dominance was tied to economic dominance and was sea power/trading based. Sea based trade is so powerful and economical that it was cheaper to ship a ton of coal by sea than train within Britain itself! 5) Britain had a monopoly over undersea cables for global communications. They used this as a weapon to spy on enemy communications and to cut off others access to the network. Sound familiar to the SWIFT banky network today? 6) Welsh coal was the best coal. So good that the Austo-Hungarian navy stockpiled before the war enough that they used it exclusively throughout WW1.

A clear and concise book
Format: Hardcover
Fascinating book. Berntsen provides some interesting insights and recommendations on how we should fix problems at the CIA and in the national security apparatus. At a time when most critics want to destroy the Agency, Berntsen provides some plain spoken sanity. Human Intelligence, Counterterrorism and National Leadership needs to be read by anyone entering into defense, foreign affairs or intelligence - and anyone else with an interest in how the CIA works. It is a fast and enjoyable read.
