Valiant Miniature Kit# 9792 - British Paratroopers Officer Arnhem 1944. it is interesting to note that some of the most inspiring feats in military history are those in which the tactical or strategic objectives failed to be achieved. The Battle Honour ARNHEM, for example, ranks above all others in the Parachute Regiment, in spite of the fact that the operation was a failure. The original plan was to drop a substantial airborne force behind the German lines to seize the vital Rhine delta bridges at Arnhem and Nijmegen, and then to effect a link-up with tank forces on the ground. The landings took place on September 17, 1944 and went according to plan, but the ensuing link-up did not. Two SS Panzer Divisions suddenly materialized in the area, and the paratroopers soon found themselves fighting for their lives. For ten days they held out under appalling conditions along an ever-shrinking perimeter, but by then it had become clear that bridgehead could no longer be held, and the embattled survivors were ordered to break out. Casualties were extremely heavy; of the 10,000 paratroopers and glider pilots who had landed, barely 2,000 finally managed to reach their own lines. Looks great, doesn't hold much so measure carefully

I got this organizer for my husband to keep his stuff by the door. While it's a little smaller than I'd hoped, it looks great in the entryway. It's super easy to snap together, but feels like the material could be damaged easily if you're not careful. He is able to store his keys, wallet, and sunglasses in it, and throws hit hat on top. Overall we are really happy with it.

Perfect

Just what I needed. The size is perfect as I didn’t want anything too large to place my watches and other accessories inside near the corner of my desk. Its size is essentially 7x7, and the design is sleek compared to other organizer holders. I got the color in blue and it looks stunning with the rest of my setup. I’m unsure about other reviewers, but mine came safely and the leather walls are decently thick, so it’s not too flimsy when buttoned together which holds very securely. There are hole spaces at the bottom corners once assembled, so if you have super small items such as beads or really small jewelry, they could potentially fall out, but most of my items are large enough that won’t be of concern. If you have a wire charger near by, the holes could be used to charge your smartphone inside, which has its own practical usage. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you’re on a lookout for a sleek but compact organizer holder, and I personally will consider getting another one in the future for myself for other household belongings.

Elegant and substantial - this valet catch all for your night stand or dresser is quite nice and very sophisticated. Sleek and soft brushed suede like material. It was packed well, and is quite nice to keep miscellaneous items corralled together. I’m very pleased and would recommend.

Perfect size, high quality

I had a previous catch all tray that I bought on amazon, it used buttons on the 4 corners to turn a flat cardboard into a tray. Over time, the catch all tray got filled up, not just with a wallet, keys and eyeglasses but eventually business cards and other knick knacks. With all the items inside the tray, sometimes the buttons would start to pop out. It wasn't awful, more of an annoyance. But it was time for me to find a more durable tray. I looked on amazon and added 6 different trays that had "potential" into my shopping cart. Then I carefully evaluated each one and deleted them out of my cart until there was only one left. Some had multiple compartments. Some were larger than this one. I felt the ones with compartments would limit my ability to put the things I want in there. Also, I didn't want it so big that it took up too much desk space. Ultimately, I felt this was the perfect size. I'm extremely happy with it, the quality is really nice and it looks and feels durable. No more loose buttons and spilled knick knacks.
