The center band is in checkered wool that also looks great. The black leather chinstrap and the fiber visor cap are also excellent. The underside of the visor is black and has a textured look to it. The brown ersatz sweatband is in place and shows wear from use. It is still soft and supple. The cap is maker marked under the peak, with the size written, 7 1/8. The sweatband is also marked underneath. This cap is in very good condition.
