The Clutch Masters FXT Series single disc conversion kit for the Dodge Ram is an excellent upgraded unit to replace the original self adjusting pressure plate and dual-mass flywheel. The factory Dual-Mass flywheel is prone for failure under heavy towing and if any power modifications are made to the vehicle. Thankfully, the Clutch Masters conversion kit solves the problem by using a single mass steel flywheel that will handle more torque, higher towing capacity, and can be resurfaced. The Clutch Masters 13" pressure plate offers a higher clamping force as well as a wider casting to accept the upgraded 3" wide disc. The pre-bled hydraulic system ensures proper release and consistent pedal feel. Also included is the release bearing, tool, and mounting hardware to ensure an easy install.
