Full-dose Nitrosigine® and VasoDrive-AP® for killer stim-free pumps

Axe & Sledge Pumpies is a straight-up, stim-free pump formula that's all about boosting blood flow in a few smart ways. No hidden blends or junk fillers here. In a world full of weak pump products, this one steps up with real doses. You get 5 capsules packing solid hits of patented Nitrosigine® and VasoDrive-AP®, plus epicatechin and pine bark extract to back up nitric oxide and blood vessel health. It's built for noticeable pumps, a better workout feel, and getting more nutrients and oxygen to your muscles during tough lifts.

Nitrosigine® leads at 1,500mg, the full dose from studies. This is inositol-stabilized arginine silicate, made to fix the issue with regular arginine—it breaks down too fast in your gut and liver, so it doesn't work well. Nitrosigine® boosts blood arginine levels, ramps up nitric oxide via eNOS (that's the enzyme that makes it), and improves blood flow. Studies show it kicks in around 30 minutes and lasts up to 6 hours. In real life, this gives you a full, lasting pump instead of a quick fade.

VasoDrive-AP® is at 508mg, right at the high end of what works. This patented mix from casein provides lactotripeptides VPP and IPP, which act like natural ACE inhibitors. ACE tightens blood vessels, so blocking it keeps them relaxed and saves bradykinin, which helps widen them and keeps arteries flexible. For training, it means easier blood flow, better oxygen and nutrients to muscles,

A&S Pumpies by Axe & Sledge contains 135mg Vitamin C, a effective dose for muscle protein synthesis.

Key Highlights

  • 1,500mg Nitrosigine® — that's the full dose from human studies showing big boosts in blood arginine, nitric oxide, and blood flow. Unlike plain arginine, this one's built to last without breaking down early, so you get a steady, reliable pump.
  • Up to 6 hours of blood flow support from Nitrosigine® — studies say it starts in about 30 minutes and keeps going. Your pump won't just hit quick and vanish; it'll stick around through long sessions.
  • 508mg VasoDrive-AP® — solid high-end dose for a capsule formula. It works differently from arginine boosters by blocking ACE, giving you real multi-angle blood flow support.
  • Dual-angle blood flow setup — Nitrosigine® ramps up arginine for nitric oxide, while VasoDrive-AP® cuts down on vessel tightening. It's smarter than single-shot formulas loaded with hype.
  • 150mg epicatechin — not the max 200-300mg for standalone use, but a good support amount here for boosting nitric oxide enzyme activity and keeping NO around. It fits the team without being a show-off.
  • 100mg pine bark extract — a go-to for vessel health that pairs great with arginine pumps. It helps blood flow feel smooth and lasting, not just a sharp spike.
  • 135mg Vitamin C — smart for fighting oxidation during intense lifts. It also guards nitric oxide levels when stress is high, which helps the whole blood flow goal.
  • Fully open label — every ingredient and dose is right there. Unlike pump stuff hiding in blends, this lets you check it against real research.

Who Is This For?

  • Intermediate bodybuilders on hypertrophy programs who rate workouts by muscle swell, rep quality, and keeping tension right. 1,500mg Nitrosigine® and 508mg VasoDrive-AP® help via dual blood flow paths, making sets feel alive not dull.
  • Night owls training after work who want real pre benefits without caffeine hangover. Stim-free means you pump up, train hard, and sleep fine.
  • Folks sensitive to stims who dig pumps but skip the jitters, fast heart, or drop. This is pure vascular boost, no CNS hype, for a smoother ride.
  • Lifters cutting caffeine but keeping workouts sharp. Nitrosigine®'s quick, lasting blood flow keeps quality up during resets.
  • Capsule fans who travel or hate powder mess. Five caps deliver open-label pumps without hassle, full on key actives.
  • Stack builders with their own stim or focus stuff, adding solid blood flow without overlaps. Transparent and focused, it fits custom setups easy.

How to Use

Take 5 capsules 30-45 minutes pre-workout with 12-16 ounces of water. Nitrosigine® studies back that timing for 30-minute onset, and good hydration amps up pump effects. If you're new to pumps or super sensitive, try 3 capsules first, then go full. Capsules? Just swallow with fluid—no mixing. Fasted for fastest hit, but a small meal works too. Stacks great with creatine, electrolytes, pre carbs, or caffeine if you want buzz with the pump. No stim tolerance, so no forced cycles. Keep it cool and dry, lid tight. Heads up: VasoDrive-AP® comes from milk, so watch for allergies.

What to Expect

First 10 minutes, no buzz since it's not stimmy. Around 20-30 minutes, Nitrosigine® kicks in, and you might feel it during warm-ups: better blood rush to muscles and an early pump. From 30-60 minutes, it's peak time with VasoDrive-AP®, epicatechin, and pine bark helping vessel tone and nitric oxide so pumps build fast and stick. Mid-session, expect fuller muscles, that tight skin stretch, and sharper muscle feel over stim spikes. Days 1-7, dial in your hydration, food, and stack. Weeks 2-4 of regular use on training days, pumps get reliable and workouts feel stronger, especially in volume phases.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Axe & Sledge Pumpies?

None. Pumpies is a stimulant-free pump formula with no caffeine, which makes it ideal for evening training, caffeine-sensitive users, or anyone who wants to stack blood-flow support separately from energy ingredients.

What is the main ingredient in Pumpies?

The core ingredient is Nitrosigine® at 1,500mg, which is the full clinical dose. It is a patented inositol-stabilized arginine silicate complex designed to raise plasma arginine more effectively than standard arginine and support nitric oxide production for vasodilation.

Why does Pumpies use VasoDrive-AP® with Nitrosigine®?

Because they work through different pathways. Nitrosigine® supports nitric oxide production by improving arginine delivery, while VasoDrive-AP® helps relax blood vessels through ACE inhibition and bradykinin preservation, creating a more complete blood-flow formula.

Is 1,500mg of Nitrosigine® a real clinical dose?

Yes. The clinical dose range for Nitrosigine® is 1,500mg, and that is exactly what Pumpies provides per 5-capsule serving. This is one of the strongest points of the formula because it matches the dose used in published human research.

Is the epicatechin dose in Pumpies high enough?

It is supportive, but not maximal. Pumpies provides 150mg, while more aggressive standalone epicatechin dosing is often discussed in the 200-300mg range. In this formula, epicatechin is best understood as part of the broader nitric oxide and vascular support network rather than the centerpiece.

How long before training should I take Pumpies?

Take it 30-45 minutes pre-workout. Nitrosigine® has research showing onset in about 30 minutes, and that timing gives the full pump complex a chance to be active by the time your harder working sets begin.

Can I stack Pumpies with a caffeinated pre-workout or coffee?

Yes, many users do exactly that. Because Pumpies is stim-free and fully disclosed, it pairs cleanly with caffeine, nootropics, creatine, electrolytes, or pre-workout carbohydrates if you want to build a more customized training stack.

Does Pumpies contain any proprietary blends?

No. Every active ingredient is fully disclosed with its exact dose, including Nitrosigine® at 1,500mg, VasoDrive-AP® at 508mg, epicatechin at 150mg, pine bark extract at 100mg, and Vitamin C at 135mg.

Is Pumpies safe for people with dairy allergies?

Use caution. VasoDrive-AP® is derived from hydrolyzed milk casein, so Pumpies is not appropriate for anyone with a true milk protein allergy.

Do I need to cycle Pumpies?

No stimulant-based cycling is required because there is no caffeine or central stimulant component. Most users can take it consistently on training days, though anyone using blood pressure medication or managing cardiovascular conditions should get medical clearance first.

No more expensive ink cartridges
Style: ET-5800, Set: FAX/Print/Copy/Scan
Great printer. I am sick and tired of HP giving me problems with their ink cartridges. I discarded my HP office Jet and replaced it with this Epson printer. Easy to set up. Came with two sets of ink bottles. Easy and clean to fill tanks with ink. The screen on my old HP Office Jet printer was so small and difficult to use. This Epson printer has a very large LCD screen which can tilt if you want and very easy to use. Separate paper trays for letter and legal or other sizes. Print, scan and fax. Connect via cable or WiFi. I wish I had purchased this sooner.

Error handling is extremely poor
Style: ET-5800, Set: FAX/Print/Copy/Scan
This printer will throw errors even though things are working. Some examples are: 1) Printing from an Apple device you will get a “printer busy“ error, even though the print goes through. 2) When connecting to Wi-Fi, the printer will send a “password incorrect” error message, even though it connects to the Wi-Fi. 3) The windows desktop application cannot find the printer, even though you can print to it from that same machine. When calling Epson for Support, you will find people who insist you do things like go through the WPS procedure even though you tell them your router does not support WPS. You will be forced to go through steps until they say something like “now press the WPS button on the router“ when they will agree with you that your router does not support WPS. They will also take you a very long way to get to a ping command because that is what their documentation tells them to do, even if you’re well aware of how to start a ping in a much quicker way. Print quality and speed seem to be very good but, at this price point, the error handling issues and lack of adequate support are unacceptable. The result in a lot of frustration, wasted time and wasted paper/ink.

Very nice and fast printer, but some info...
Style: ET-5850, Set: FAX/Print/Copy/Scan
The printer is nice and very fast printing regular documents in color or black and white. Printing photos is slower but still pretty faster than other printers I have seen. The model I purchased was the ET-5850, it came with 2 sets of full size ink bottles. When you set up the printer one set will fill the tanks. You think run through setup on the display and it will take 9 minutes to prime the system. This is initially getting the ink from the tanks to fill the empty tubes to the print heads. When this is done (takes 9 minutes) the tanks will be ½ full. Good thing you have the second set. The size in the images shows the depth of the printer to be 31 inches, it's not, it's about 19 inches with the back tray closed and the output tray retracted. Installing the driver way very simple. I did not use the driver disc as I'm running the latest OS on my computers. My Mac's all found the printer and set them up. (Note: I run in dark mode on my computers and when the driver installs it as the back version of the printer for the icon we is very hard to see in dark mode. I was able to change it to the image that matched the color my printer, but that takes some under the hood tinkering.) Both of my Windows computers also found and set up the printers without any issue. You can also set up an email address for your printer that people can email you documents to it. The Epson website gives you a lot of control over this. You can change to a custom name before the @ in the address or use the random one they picked. You can also limit who can send to your printer. That is something that I liked on my old HP this one replaced. Two items that I think they need to fix: The output tray comes out automatically when you start to print. It does not retract automatically, there is a symbol on the control panel that you tap to get it to retract. They should have made it so that when you take what was printed that it automatically retracts as it sticks out pretty far. The web interface isn't great. If you have ever used the web interface for a commercial copier, then you know what I mean. For example, when putting in contacts for faxing/scanning/emailing, the interface doesn't allow you to put in email addresses. There is an option to select the type of contact, fax, email, etc, but if doesn't give you a box to put in the email address. If you add the entry on the display for the device its self then you can put in the email. You can then go back to the web interface and edit the entry and the email address. Crazy right. Luckily I didn't have many to put in. If they could five those two items I would give it 5 stars. I'm going to email Epson my thoughts and see what happens.

Really Great Printer!
Style: ET-5880, Set: FAX/Print/Copy/Scan
I purchased the Epson ET-5880 for our small office to fulfill our need for a good color printer. I read a number of a reviews about the printer before making the purchase. Most were positive, so I went ahead and ordered the printer. I'm very pleased with this printer. I had no problem connecting it to our network. Installing the drivers on four computers was easy as well. I should note that the printer comes with a CD for installation, but I chose to use the NEWER drivers that were on Epson's website instead. You should do that as well. Filling the ink tanks on the printer was very simple. Not so much as a drop of ink was spilled. The ink bottles are keyed so that one cannot put the wrong color ink in a tank no intended for that color. Once filled, the unit goes through a charging process (Epson's term) to get ink to the print heads. Yes, it uses a little ink, but Epson also supplied a second set of ink bottles so that the ink tanks are full after the charging process. The printing is very fast, yielding high quality print. I suggest using 22 or 24 pound paper, especially if printing on both sides of the paper. I was particularly interested in seeing how this printer would handle scanning. I do a lot of two-sided scanning. The scanning software, SCAN 2 and SCANSMART, both worked well. SCAN 2 gives the user lots of options, but might be overwhelming to a newer user. The SCANSMART software is more visual and gives the user enough features to adjust and/or crop images as needed. The software does provide the option of creating a searchable PDF file, which is something I like as I deal in contract documents. Of course, one can print from a cell phone or tablet if desired. There's even a remote print feature where one can print via email from anywhere where there's an Internet connection. Overall, I'm pleased with this printer. It's not inexpensive, but it will easily meet the needs of a small office.

Update
Style: ET-5880, Set: FAX/Print/Copy/Scan, Style: ET-5880, Set: FAX/Print/Copy/Scan
Packaging could be improved because printer was shipped in its retail box. The printer somehow survived the cross country trip at the expense of internal foam packaging. The printer does a very good job but of course it should because it's new. The paper output drawer is somewhat curious because it extends automatically but you have to manually push it in. Set up not exactly straightforward because printer started up with error messages (no paper) when actually full. This Epson has two paper trays. OEM ink is pricey, over $90 for 4 bottles. There are a lots of generic inks available but Epson wants you to buy theirs with a warning. The amount of ink this printer consumes is still being evaluated because upon set up, the ink empty printer must be setup and it does draw down the eco tanks level. This printer is fast but not as fast as the HP576DW it replaces. Wifi connection is reliable and printing using a mobile device is very good. More to come. I've just learned that the aforementioned powered output tray does retract with an on screen button. Ink consumption seems reasonable but the price is still high. Amazon has now reduced this printer 40%. Timing is everything.
