A CURT front trailer hitch allows you to use the front end of your vehicle for a variety of towing applications. They can be used for mounting a winch, a snow plow, a number of towing accessories and can even be used for some trailering applications. When space is limited, a front trailer hitch is commonly used to hold a cargo carrier, freeing up space inside the vehicle for extra cargo and making the rear mount receiver available to pull a trailer. At the boat ramp, your boat trailer can be hitched up to the front receiver hitch, giving you better control over the trailer as you launch. Some of the other accessories that can be used with a front tow hitch are the CURT winch mount, step pad, license plate holder, spare tire mount, skid shield and tow hooks. All CURT front trailer hitches provide a useful receiver tube to accept a 2" x 2" shank, and they are commonly used on trucks, vans and SUVs. This front trailer hitch is rated for 3,000 lbs. GTW and 300 lbs. TW. It also has a straight-line pull rating of 9,000 lbs. It is designed to be a custom trailer hitch for certain years of the Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see application info). I have a heavy heavy chewer, the only things that has escaped him were items like "kong" solid and rubber but no squeaky. He quickly lost interest in the toy; largely within a week at most and never picks it up again unless really bored.
Squeaky toys had a life shelf of a week at best, that is with us taking them away to "preserve" them for longer. So far, this toy, the fish, has been the longest surviving squeaky and the longest at keeping his interest. it has received some cosmetic damage, but nothing that would make you remove the toy from his possession and it STILL squeaks.

Still holding up to my super-chewer!

It's a very good product. I would recommend this toy for a heavy chewing dog. My main reasons it's not 5 stars, it's HEAVY and the eyes peeled right off. My pup really likes to throw his toys around, this thing sounds like a cannon ball that's going to go through our floor! He also tries to destroy everything so he was chewing on the eyes and he would have definitely eaten them if I wasn't paying attention. It's not a horrible thing but I obviously don't want him to eat non food things. My dog also likes the squeaker in it, but it's difficult for me to get it to squeak. That's not a big deal though just thought I should mention it. Overall especially for the price, it's a good sturdy product that's cute and it's still holding up. He's chewed parts of the softer areas off a bit, but the rest is very hard so he hasn't made much of a dent. It's also about as big as his head, so he's pretty happy with it!

Worth it if your dog destroys plush toys & likes to chew

My dog is a very big chewer and destroyer of toys. This toy is perfect for her. It is durable and keeps her engaged chewing for a while. I have a 55lb dog, considered a large dog, and it’s a great size for her. She’s unable to break it apart. The ends do tend to get a little sharp after extended use

My Boston loves this fish toy

Very durable. It takes a couple of months of intense chewing to make holes in this toy. My Boston has incredible mouth strength so he destroys most toys in minutes unless they are rocks. I have replaced this fish 2 times in the last year. I keep an eye on the wear and replace it when he makes a hole in it. Worthwhile purchase but monitor the dogs chewing.
