For both collections, Rashidas inspiration comes from the Japanese festival, Tanabata also known as the Star Festival. She was also heavily inspired by Kirigami, a type of origami that involves the cutting of paper to create beautiful and intricate shapes. So many prints in this collection have a gentle nod to that paper cut style. Rashida also brought back her scissors print, Snip
