Giallo paglierino. Al naso si esprime, in particolare, con sentori di frutta matura; spiccano, soprattutto, le note di banana, albicocca e ananas. Al palato è piacevolmente pieno, fresco e di invitante mineralità.L'Alto Adige Chardonnay DOC “Glarea” di Cantina Tramin nasce da uve allevate su terreni ricchi di ghiaia calcarea, posti sulle prime pendici delle vette più alte della Mendola. Fermentato in legno e, poi, maturato in barrique, tonneaux e botti da 12 hl, è un bianco succoso, deciso e dal profilo ben delineato. Armonico e dal finale lunghissimo.
Molto versatile negli abbinamenti, è ottimo con i primi di pesce ma anche con le minestre di verdure; può accompagnare le carni bianche e la mozzarella di bufala.
