And despite being barbless, its longer Super Point ensures the same holding ability as the barbed TMC100, so you give up nothing in fish-holding by fishing barbless. That heavier wire also makes it versatile: it ties classic dry flies like the TMC 100 is known for, while having the backbone to handle nymphs and heavier patterns.
It is a wide-gap, forged hook with a bronze finish and a down eye, in a 1X long, 1.5X heavy configuration.
