Description

MOTUL RBF 660 Factory Line - 0.5LFor all types of hydraulically actuated brake and clutch systems requiring non silicone synthetic fluid. Specially designed to withstand the extreme temperature generated by racing carbon and ceramic brakes while allowing minimized air entrance for brake cooling. Also suitable for conventional brakes with steel discs and for conventional hydraulic clutch actuators. Exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 5. 1 standards requirements, except for viscosity at 40C 40F.

For all types of hydraulically actuated brake and clutch systems requiring non-silicone synthetic fluid. Specially designed to withstand the extreme temperature generated by racing carbon and ceramic brakes while allowing minimized air entrance for brake cooling. Also suitable for conventional brakes with steel discs and for conventional hydraulic clutch actuators. Exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 5.1 standards requirements, except for viscosity at -40°C / -40°F.

Features
Extreme thermal resistance and stability:
MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE very high dry boiling point (325°C / 617°F) exceeds the  equirements of the standards DOT 5.1 non silicone base (260°C mini / 500°F mini) and DOT 4 (230°C mini / 446°F mini), and therefore enables effective braking even in extreme conditions.
Allows better aerodynamic performance by reducing the need for brake cooling air scoops on vehicles.
Efficient when rainy:
MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE very high wet boiling point (205°C / 401°F) is superior than the requirements of the standards DOT 5.1 non-silicone base (180°C mini / 356°F mini) and DOT 4 (155°C mini / 311°F mini), and therefore enables to keep efficient braking in wet conditions. Indeed, DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluids have the property of absorbing moisture from the air, which reduces their boiling points and increases the risk of “vapor lock” phenomena. The wet boiling point is measured after moistening the product with 3% water in order to be representative of the state of the fluid after 1 year of use.

Recommendations
Drain interval: always according to manufacturers’ recommendations and to be tuned to your own use.
Avoid mixing with lower performance polyglycol-based brake fluids.
Do not mix with silicone (DOT 5 silicone base) or mineral base fluids (LHM).
Store brake fluid in its original container, tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption.
Aggressive chemical product if in contact with hands, paint or varnish.
If skin contact, rinse thoroughly with water.

Specifications

TOO SMALL
Size: Medium, Color: Blue
Nice socks, but they are way too small. Says they fit size 6 - 10. I kept 3 ( I wear size 8) and gave 3 to my daughter (size 8.5). We both agreed that they were just too small.

Post-COVID Sock Hunt: Finally a Win
Size: Medium, Color: (001) Black / Black / White
Ever since COVID, I haven’t been able to find a pair of socks that hold up for more than a few months. Brands like UA, Adidas, and others seem to have cut corners—likely in response to inflation—by downgrading materials and labor rather than raising prices. The result? Socks that wear thin, rip easily, or lose shape fast. These, however, have been a pleasant surprise. I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks and so far, they’re holding strong. You can tell some cost-saving measures were still made—certain areas feel slightly thinner—but overall, the construction is solid. A key win: they stay on. These are ankle socks (not “no-shows”), and they hug the ankle securely. That’s a huge plus in a world where most post-COVID no-shows slide off halfway through the day. We may never get back to the pre-COVID quality standards without paying a premium, but for now, these are a reliable choice. Ratings: • No slipping: 10/10 • Price: 7/10 • Durability (so far): No pilling or loose threads — promising start.
