💻 Compatibility & Requirements
- Systems: x86_64 (64-bit) PCs capable of USB boot (UEFI or Legacy BIOS).
- RAM: 4GB recommended.
- Wi-Fi support: Some chipsets may require persistence to store additional firmware or drivers.
- Some hardware (Wi-Fi chipsets, Secure Boot, very new systems) may need additional steps. Not for ARM/M1/M2/M3 Macs.
⚙️ How to Boot
Insert USB, power on, press your boot-menu key (F12, Esc, F10, F2, Del, etc.).
Select the USB device and start Tails.
If using the Persistence variant, set up encrypted storage after booting Tails (guided steps included).
