ABOUT THE ART
She proudly wears the yellow and blue flag of her country, and crushes, with each of her steps, the Russian tanks that are in her path. On the day after Christmas, Seth Globepainter brings back to life this determined little girl who seems to single-handedly embody the resistance of an entire people.
The jets of paint from her aerosol can are as precise as her brush stroke and, quickly, “Ukraine on the Move” once again adorns this wall on rue Buot, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, where she was first born time on February 27, 2022, three days after the start of the Russian offensive. “That day, I took to the street without thinking, as if it were obvious,” remembers the street artist. "I have been to Ukraine several times, and I wanted to show its inhabitants that they were not forgotten."
