Euphylia Torch Corals Euphyllia GlabrescensThe Euphyllia glabrescens, commonly known as the Torch Coral, is a stunning and iconic coral species found in the Indo-Pacific region. Known for its dazzling colors, swaying tentacles, and propensity to sting nearby corals, the Torch Coral has been a staple of the reef aquarium hobby for decades. Torch Corals typically occur singularly, with just one colony in any given spot, occasionally surrounded by smaller colonies that are presumably offspring or detached fragments. These colonies can attain a hemispherical shape up to a foot in diameter, though much more expansive colonies have been reported. The species is described as having phaceloid coralla that are taller than its congener E. cristata, with corallites ranging from 20-30 millimeters in diameter. Torch Corals are found across the Indo-Pacific, from Australia to Indonesia, though there appear to be some nuanced differences between the two regions, with Australian varieties exhibiting thicker, more cylindrical tentacles compared to the thinner, tapering tentacles of their Indonesian counterparts. The underlying causes of these differences remain unclear. In the aquarium, Torch Corals require moderate water flow and low to moderate lighting, with optimal water parameters including nitrate levels of 1-10 mg/l and phosphate levels of 0.03-0.1 mg/l. They are considered moderately aggressive and may sting nearby corals, so care should be taken when placing them in a reef tank. Torch Corals are generally recommended for experienced aquarists, as they can be challenging to care for and may require specific feeding regimes. Overall, the Euphyllia glabrescens is a stunning and sought-after coral that, with proper care and attention, can be a beautiful addition to a reef aquarium.

An improvement over the original product, but could be better
I had used the original Xylimelts a few years back for my night time very dry mouth. They worked very well, completely dissolving overnight, but they caused sores inside my cheeks. Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.

These work well!
These work to keep my mouth moist for hours. The only downside is the glue stays in your mouth till you can scrape it out with your finger. I thought it would dissolve but it didn’t. Very grateful to find something that moistens my mouth for so long though. They’re easy to use too. Taste slightly sweet but otherwise I didn’t notice anything.

Xylimelts Sensitive
I was sensitive to the regular Xylimelts after a few months use. Painful gums and hives inside my lips and cheeks. The sensitive version immediately corrected the problem and I’ve been using them without issue for nearly a year. The product is a lifesaver for drymouth that occurred when I was sleeping.

Best that I have found for dry mouth.
These are the best for dry mouth at night. They mostly stay stuck. I say mostly because I have had a few come apart. I think that was my fault.
