Si tratta infatti di un vino la cui maturazione avviene per ben due anni in botti di

Al palato è fresco, molto fine, caratterizzato da un grande equilibrio e da un finale deciso e persistente, su note di melograno.Assaggiando il "Contrada" di COS scopriamo quanto il Nero d'Avola possa esprimere anche a distanza di diversi anni dalla vendemmia. Si tratta infatti di un vino la cui maturazione avviene per ben due anni in botti di rovere, seguiti da circa sei mesi in vasche di cemento e da un altro anno in bottiglia. Quello che ne risulta è un Sicilia IGT di rara ampiezza mediterranea, suadente ed invitante. Un rosso immancabile.
A tutto pasto, il "Contrada" di COS è un vino rosso ideale per accompagnare piatti di carne gustosi e complessi. Arrosti, anche di maiale.
