German WWII Model 33 SS Dagger by Böker-This is a very fine offering with characteristics associated with early production including solid nickel cross guards and scabbard fittings along with the Roman numeral I on the lower reverse of the cross guard which is the stamp for Berlin. The black ebony wooden grip is a perfect fit with some slight nicks here and there. These are mostly isolated to the reverse of the grip. It has the proper early nickel silver eagle along with the black enameled runic button are both in near excellent condition. The scabbard is anodized and retains 85% of its finish.  The scabbard fittings are in place, are nicely toned with no damage. All four screws are unturned. The blade with its deep motto, translates to “My Honor Is Loyalty” is in very good condition. It retains the factory cross graining. There are in and out marks. The Böker logo with the tree on the reverse is quite distinctive. A true beauty.
