Over 100 women craft these baskets. bringing much needed income to help support their families. You can use it as a hamper, for blankets or towels, or store toys or stuffed animals in it too! The modern African artistry entails weaving in the coil style by binding dried cattail stalks with plastic strips salvaged from a Dakar mat factory.
