artist biography
Ditte Hood was born in Stockholm in 1921. She was a Swedish painter.
Hood studied in Stockholm at the Konstfackskolan (National College of Art) and Grünewald's Målarskola (Painting School). She had numerous solo exhbibitions between the years 1955 and 1983 and participated in in group exhibitions internationally including shows in Italy in 1968, Spain in 1968 and 1969, and France in 1970.
Examples are her work are held in museums in Stockholm and Göteborg, Malmö city collections, Swedish House in Buenos Aires, as well as private collections in Europe, North and South America.
