The levels for depth make edging around d flower beds or raised beds easy- not really a trench, but gives a good edge. Lightweight and easy to manage. Definitely lighter than my corded edger. They have no spare parts and you will need to source replacement blades. ( they supply 1 spare). Otherwise, worth a try.
