Nose On the nose, this whisky is packed full of fruitiness, riped bananas, boiled sweets and cinnamon.
Palate Initinally, the thick, chewy and oily texture of this whisky is evident. From there, we get a peppery and malty note, then strawberries, brandy schnapps and parma violets.
Finish Into the finish there´s subtle peat smoke hiding in the background, wine gum sweetness, toasted oats, dunnage earthiness and a slight drying taste.

All five malts from the region’s three distilleries have been to produce this genuine Campbeltown Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. The whisky was vatted and bottled at Springbank and is made exclusively of whisky from each of Campbeltown‘s 5 whisky brands: Springbank, H azelburn, L ongrow, K ilkerran and Glen S cotia. D Springbank: Das Flaggschiff heißt schlicht Springbank– und wird wegen seines legendären Salztons gerne als „der Maritime“ bezeichnet. Leicht getorft und 2,5 fach destilliert, wurde der Single Malt schon 1828 zum ersten Mal abgefüllt und ist heute in den Altersstufen 10, 12, 15, 18 und 21 Jahre erhältlich. Dabei ist jede einzelne Abfüllung ein individuelles Geschmackserlebnis: Bei der für 10 Jahre gereiften Edition etwa spielt das Aroma mit dem Geschmack süßer Früchte und Honig und variiert dies unnachahmlich mit einem feinen Torfton. Rundum ausgewogen im Geschmack, mit einer tiefen und dennoch unaufdringlichen Malznuance und stets präsenter rauchiger Note ist dieser Whisky lang und elegant im Abgang. Erhältlich in 46 % Vol. und Cask Strength.
