Connectivity Options
KD-BYOD4K can function as its own access point in Wi-Fi direct mode for immediate casting.
Or, connect KD-BYOD4K to your network via WiFi or hard-wire with dual LAN connections for casting from guest and staff networks.
Smooth Casting Across Platforms
The KD-BYOD4K covers all five major device platforms - Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Chrome.
Windows and Mac users can load the KDPlay application via a web browser connection to KD-BYOD4K. Alternatively, they can utilize the provided dual-headed USB flash drive for quick connection, even if they're new to the network. No installation is required!
For iOS users, AirPlay allows users to present without having to learn a new casting method. Airplay is another option for casting from Mac computers.
Android users can download the KDPlay™ app on the Google Play Store.
When multiple presenters are casting, the screen auto-sizes with up to 4 windows at once, and a moderator can efficiently manage the content flow.
USB Connectivity and Benefits
Beyond its wireless capabilities, the wireless presentation system features various USB connectivity options for USB mouse forwarding to casting PCs or for use with built-in annotation tools for enhanced presentations and brainstorming sessions.
