The Focal Center speaker offers a delicate and neat design. Added front, black finishes, metallic and screen-printed rings, magnetic fabric holder, positioning of the vent at the back: refinement is found in every detail.
Exceptional manufacturing
The Focal Theva Center speaker is equipped with two 165mm bass/midrange drivers equipped with the Slatefiber membrane . The TNF Aluminum/Magnesium inverted dome tweeter delivers smooth, clear highs.
The TNF tweeter benefits from a suspension which connects the dome to its Poron support . This suspension is directly derived from the famous Utopia Beryllium tweeter and allows the distortion to be divided by three between 2000 Hz and 3000 Hz , an area of very high sensitivity of the ear. This Focal tweeter guarantees a very stable soundstage.
The speaker with its Slatefiber membrane is made of recycled carbon fibers sandwiched between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. In search of perfection, Focal engineers have chosen to use non-woven carbon fibers oriented in the same direction to obtain ever greater rigidity, damping and lightness, the “essentials” of a good loudspeaker. Recognized for the transcription of dynamic, rich and balanced sound.
