"Pete Nichols is one of Brattleboro VT's many talented polymaths. He runs the Spooky Town Tapes label, records bands at Peter's World Studio, and is a member of Great Valley. This album - his first solo LP - collects the previously issued Grapey Day cassette, and adds a matching suite of songs for your listening pleasure. Nichols' muse is a bizarre pop/outsider hybrid, recalling everyone from Tracey Trance to Big Star at various moments. The songs are sweet nuggets of form, transmuted by itchy fingers into something both more and less than pop-tongue-aktion. The arrangements can be nearly straight (as on the sweet Yo La Tengo-ism of 'A Trip'), slightly off ('Staying Home's evocation of Peabody-era Chilton) or sound like a boll weevil from the cast of Godspell covering Jad Fair ('Girls Don't Like Guys in Bands Anymore'). Swallowed whole, the album will make your throat feel a little odd, but not in a truly unpleasant way. Indeed, some doctors somewhere are almost certain to prescribe it as a tonic. I just felt like two things
1. The character development wasn’t there the character consistency wasn’t there, especially with the FMC.
2. The FMC would literally make the guys feel bad and keep bringing up that they don’t want her there, but then her whole thing has been. I don’t wanna be here so either you wanna be there or not but if you give off vibes that you don’t wanna be there people are not gonna want you there.

Great read

Hahahha omg I love Laurie. Momma don't care if you're an Uber alpha, she'll still middle name you & give you a dressing down hahaha. But really, this was a great read, great pacing for a fast paced book (timeline-wise) & great characters that actually felt individual. Plus I always love psycho puppy alphas haha.

A sweet Knotty Novel
Format: Kindle
This is just an sweet omegaverse novel. Very low drama. Each guy had their moments and the spice was like paprika. I would definitely count it as a slowish burn but the tension built. I was hoping for more "dark" but definitely count it as sweet.

This is definitely a type of OV story I am familiar with just with some unique components that make it its own story. If you’ve read a lot of OV then this plot will be easy to follow and enjoyable.
