The showy rich purple brackets cover the tiny flowers and form a clover like global head bloom lasts through summer until frost. The long lasting flowerheads are extremely attractive to butterflies and bees. Best flowering occurs in full sun and average to dry well drained soils. Makes for an excellent cut or dried flower.
