The founder of Literacy Volunteers of America, Inc., which later merged with other organizations to become ProLiteracy, Colvin was invited by universities, religious organizations, and the International Executive Service Corporation to share her skills in native language literacy and English as a second language training. Along the way, Colvin met people from all walks of life--a holy man in India, a banned leader and a revolutionary in the apartheid system of South Africa, lepers in India and Madagascar, Chinese Communists who truly "serve the people," and survivors of Pol Pot's Cambodia. In a richly varied and exciting career, Colvin's most rewarding adventures were connecting with individuals from vastly different backgrounds and experiences, learning about their cultures and traditions, and discovering the many similarities all people share. Hard diameter to find
I took a chance on these ropes being the right size diameter for my English Bulldog. So many times in pet stores they either have just the huge diameter for the large breed dogs or the very small diameter and length for the little dogs. These were perfect and a great value getting two ropes of the same size.

Colorful, Sturdy & Great Value
Color: Large Set of 4
Purchased for our two puppies when they were 2 months old and weighed about 14 pounds so theses balls were a little big for them to hold in their mouths but that didn't stop them from trying. While they did like these balls they much preferred softer soccer balls, the later of which did not hold up well at all. I had hoped they would play with these balls more when they were older but that hasn't happened 5 months later. I guess it's no fun if you can't tear the toy apart. Colors are very bright and they do enjoy chasing after them as long as I am the one rolling them across the room for them. Maybe when they progress to batting things with their paws they will start to do this for themselves.
