Then pull on the rope, which will automatically lock with the stainless steel ratchet mechanism. The rope is made of 1/8" braided polypropylene, and the hooks are constructed of zinc-plated steel. The internal gears inside the locking ratchet are all built with stainless steel parts for a long-lasting smooth operation.
