The Museum of Unconditional Surrender--by the renowned Yugoslavian writer Dubravka Ugresic--begins in the Berlin Zoo, with the contents of Roland the Walrus's stomach displayed beside his pool (Roland died in August, 1961). These objects--a cigarette lighter, lollipop sticks, a beer-bottle opener, etc.--like the fictional pieces of the novel itself, are seemingly random at first, but eventually coalesce, meaningfully and poetically.Written in a variety of literary forms, The Museum of Unconditional Surrender captures the shattered world of a life in exile. Some chapters re-create the daily journal of the narrator's lonely and alienated mother, who shops at the improvised flea-markets in town and longs for her children; another is a dream-like narrative in which a circle of women friends are visited by an angel. There are reflections and accounts of the Holocaust and the Yugoslav Civil War; portraits of European artists; a recipe for Caraway Soup; a moving story of a romantic encounter the narrator has in Lisbon; descriptions of family photographs; memories of the small town in which Ugresic was raised.
Addressing the themes of art and history, aging and loss, The Museum is a haunting and an extremely original novel. In the words of the Times Literary Supplement, "it is vivid in its denunciation of destructive forces and in its evocation of what is at stake."

Fit fail
Color: Red, Size: Large
I don't like to give bad reviews but I will at least give an honest review. I purchased this shirt in red and was pleased with the color once I received it. My problem was, that when I tried the shirt on, the fit was good but the collar noticably too big for the shirt size. Looked like something from the '70's. I returned the shirt.

Solid shirt for the price — looks sharp and fits great
Color: Light Grey, Size: 3X-Large
I picked up this COOFANDY long sleeve shirt for work and casual wear, and overall I’m really happy with it. The fit is true to size and it’s not too tight or too loose — just a clean, regular fit that looks good on its own or tucked in. The material feels comfortable and not overly stiff, which is nice since I wear it all day. It has a crisp look but still feels soft enough to wear without feeling like you’re in a dress shirt all day.
The stitching and buttons seem strong, and the shirt holds up well after washing without shrinking or losing shape. I also like that it’s easy to iron (or even just hang up right after drying) and it still looks presentable. The collar stays in place and the overall style is simple and classic, so it works for interviews, work, or even going out.
For the price, this shirt is a great value. It looks more expensive than it is, and I’d definitely buy another color. If you’re looking for a reliable everyday dress shirt that fits well and looks clean, this is a solid option.

Absolutely fantastic value. Quality shirt....love the texture however, when ordering, size up. I normally take a large however, the XL was a perfect fit.

Nice shirts! Fit perfectly!
Color: Dark Green, Size: Large
REALLY nice shirts! Bought dark green and black for my 23 year old son before he left for his six month cruise job to East Asia and they look to not wrinkle at all, plus they fit perfectly and look great! He's 5' 10" and about 170 lbs and wears a large. It fits a little loose, but he likes it that way. I would highly recommend these shirts!

Color is off, but still a nice shirt.
Color: Brown, Size: X-Large, Color: Brown, Size: X-Large
The shirt is great as far as quality. Material is very nice. Hubby wears an XL, and I bought the XL and it fit him perfectly. He is 5'11" and weighs 210lbs.
The reason I gave a 4 star, and not a 5 star is because I ordered the brown color. When you look at the brown option on the color option, you will see from my pictures posted that I did not receive a brown shirt. What I received was more like a rust color or a copper color. I kept it because I actually liked it. But Amazon needs to do better with their color descriptions. If you're looking for a genuine brown color, this is not the shirt for you.
