Syringe filters are used in analytical chemistry applications to remove particulate contamination prior to analysis. Filtering a sample prior to sample injection into analytical instrumentation will help protect sensitive parts of the instrument from particulate build-up and reduce system downtime. Sample filtration using syringe filters containing 0.45 μm (HPLC) or 0.2 μm (UHPLC) pore size membranes will also extend the life of chromatography columns by preventing particulate from blocking the flow path between the column packing. Pall’s Acrodisc One PSF Syringe Filters with wwPTFE membranes have been designed to protect analytical instrumentation and improve the reliability of results. wwPTFE membrane devices are chemically compatible with a wide variety of common solvents and are suitable for use in both aqueous and organic applications. These syringe filters are constructed with solvent compatible polypropylene material. The polypropylene plastic provides the syringe filter with exceptional strength, it is the highest grade of plastic with minimal additives and passes United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Biological Reactivity Test, In Vivo <88> plastics testing. Both the wwPTFE membrane and polypropylene housing are extremely low in levels of potential extractables that can lead to chromatographic interference. The devices are low in protein and API binding which make them ideal for drug studies, such as dissolution testing. The GxF/wwPTFE membrane configuration features a a GxF multi-layer glass fiber prefilter, providing two to four times the throughput of standard prefilter devices. The multi-layer prefilter captures particulate rated from > 40 to 1 μm.Shipping Notes

Works really well and it actually holds a lot

Great product I love that you can put it extended open or or not depending on the width of your silverware drawer on your kitchen or you can use it for tools. You can use it for nuts and bolts. You can use it for I don’t know paintbrushes if you want to. I don’t know if you really want to. I have one in my kitchen and I have one in my living room in my bedroom just to put pens and stuff like that in them. If you have a wide silverware cabinet drawers, you can extend it a lot more than what you see in my picture, but I was able to extend it way more than what was there before and I really like how it is.

Exactly as expected

This expandable silverware organizer made such a difference in my kitchen drawers. It sounds dramatic for a utensil organizer, but it genuinely made everything feel cleaner, more organized, and less chaotic. I love that it expands because it made it super easy to customize to my drawer size instead of awkwardly leaving unused space.
The compartments are roomy enough to hold a lot without everything getting jumbled together, and I like that there are enough sections for silverware plus extra kitchen tools and gadgets. It helped me finally give everything a designated place, which is especially satisfying when setting up a new kitchen.
Even though it’s plastic, it doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. It feels sturdy once in the drawer, slides open smoothly, and has held up really well with daily use. I also appreciate that it’s lightweight and easy to wipe clean if crumbs or dust get inside.
Overall, this is one of those simple organizational purchases that makes everyday life easier. My kitchen drawers look so much more put together now, and it’s nice not having to dig through clutter every time I need a fork or cooking utensil. Definitely worth it for anyone trying to organize their kitchen without spending a ton.
