The Wallbox Pulsar Max PLP2-0-2-2-F-002 is a compact black single phase 230V AC 5m tethered wall mounting EV charger suitable for home and public use and can be controlled through the myWallbox app which boasts a range of smart functions.

The updated design combines a new easy-to-install backplate with a scratch-resistant black finish and IP54/IK10 ratings. Designed for indoor or outdoor installation and backed by a 3 year warranty.

Supplied with Type 2 connector and 5m tethered cable it offers 7.4kW 32A single phase 230V AC charging power. Compatible with all plug-in vehicles.

The Pulsar Max range also benefits from the addition of integrated DC leakage protection. Integrated PEN fault protection means no earthing rod necessary.

The intelligent charging system connects to the "myWallbox" charging management platform via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to provide access to a range of smart charging functions anywhere with your phone. Schedule charging sessions that take advantage of off-peak energy rates, monitor your charger status, and more. Voice control enabled, providing hands-free access for devices with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

Solar charging enabled. Take full advantage of your solar panels by charging with your surplus clean energy.

Benefits from an integrated LED status halo which indicates charging activity, current status and any errors. The colour coded LED display has been designed to be simple and easy to understand at a glance with a set of 6 colours and 2 flashing modes.

A great read for those who want in depth knowledge about MS Active Directory & related services

Reviewer: 20 yrs training and consulting experience with Windows Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, all major hypervisors, and cloud services. Active Directory along with all the related services and features are complex and many faceted topics. Books showing step by step examples are easy to come by, although not very useful since there’s plenty of Microsoft online help with the same info. What’s more important is to understand the features and related services and how to use them properly and securely. This book covers in great detail Active Directory and the related services and features. There’s also plenty of information and expertise from a security perspective. With the move to cloud services and more employees are working from home there’s a whole new level of security issues to contend with. This book contains lots of in-depth explanations that allow you to understand why certain features and services exist and how to use them. This extra depth and the author’s experience is what makes this book special. I would recommend this book for IT Professionals that already have some AD knowledge and experience. My only qualification is that I occasionally found some of the explanations confusing even after reading them over a several times. I would highly recommend this book for those who wish to understand, configure and design an AD infrastructure along with associated services including OU design, group policy, object management delegation, ADFS, Certificate Services, etc. Although the book is not about Azure AD it does cover some aspects including integrating with on-prem AD.

Detailed coverage of Active Directory
Format: Kindle
I spent several years very close to active directory but haven’t followed developments in recent years. I was interested in this book as a refresher on what’s new in the last 8-10 years – and it did not disappoint. The chapter on Advanced AD Management with PowerShell does a great job providing some background, setting the stage for why we’d want to know this, and providing some brief descriptions of various cmdlets that might be needed. My last experience with PowerShell/Active Directory required the Quest module, so seeing these native cmdlets is a nice change. The chapter on AD FS is very detailed, providing a history of the functionality, deployment topologies and considerations, as well as details on configuring the required components. This is a topic I was not familiar with before seeing this book, and it did a good job bringing me up to speed on the feature. I have not made it all the way through this book, but the sections I have completed are very good. If you are looking for a thorough reference guide on the current state of Active Directory, you should check out this book.

If you purchased an earlier release of this book and was wondering if this one is worth getting, the answer is yes!! The biggest change is this edition thoroughly covers the latest and greatest, Windows Server 2022. It walks through security issues, the differences between this and previous versions of Windows Server and how to design and deploy a functional and secure Server 2022 Active Directory. I enjoyed reading through this book and highly recommend it!
